Annotation summary According to various transcriptomic databases, Adam22 is highly expressed in the brain (distributed across several regions) with far less expression in the other human organs. In the mouse CNS, RNA and protein localization is moderate to strong in most areas, while strong intensity and diffuse immunoreactivity of synaptic fields is observed throughout the entire gray matter of the brain.
