Annotation summary NPAS1 RNA transcripts show weak to moderate expression across various human tissues, including brain. In the mouse CNS, moderate intensity dendritic immunostaining is noticed in the external plexiform layer of the olfactory bulb and in some rostral cortical areas (like somatosensory cortex). Neuronal somatic and axonal immunostaining is noticed in some brainstem nuclei too.
