Moderate-strong intensity immunostaining of dense axonal networks and synaptic fields is noticed in selected regions of the forebrain, like in the medial septum, vental pallidum, HDB-VDB, globus pallidus, lateral preoptic area, zona incerta, multiple thalamic nuclei.
In the brainstem, this pattern is more widespread and noticed throuhgout the midbrain, pons and medulla.
In the cerebellu, the staining is restricted to the molecular layer.
