Annotation summary Intense axonal immunostaining is noticed in the external plexiform layer of the olfactory bulb. Diffuse-synaptic immunostaining is noticed throughout the entire forebrain with different signal intensities: strong diffuse-synaptic staining is noticed in the piriform-, insular-, cingulate- and entrorhinal cortical regions, in the hippocampus, lateral septum, anterior hypothalamus and thalamus stria terminalis. A subset of hippocampal neurons exhibit dendritic staining. Sparse neocortical neurons and neurons in some medullar nuclei exhibit somatic sytoplasmic immunostaining.
